Introduction: As part of its ongoing commitment to livelihood generation, the Siddiqui Welfare Society’s Global Foundation launched the 'Earn with Dignity' (सन्मानाने कमाई) initiative in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) during the holy month of Ramadan. The program successfully empowered 50 local youths by equipping them with fully stocked pushcarts to kickstart their own micro-businesses. Comprehensive Business Support: Rather than just providing financial aid, the Foundation constructed custom pushcarts worth ₹8,000 each and loaded them with an initial inventory of goods worth ₹2,000 per recipient—representing a direct investment of ₹10,000 per business setup. The inventory was tailored to individual aspirations, with some receiving tea stall setups, others receiving vegetables, and some being provided with footwear to sell. Building Sustainable Livelihoods: The drive was held to enable young people to become self-reliant and support their families through honest labor. Following last year's massive drive that saw 200 carts distributed, this initiative ensures continuity in lifting vulnerable families out of financial dependency. Honorable Guests & Dignitaries: The distribution ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Mrs. Sayyeda Seema Fatima (President of Darul Infa Foundation, Hyderabad) and Retired Deputy CEO Mr. Muqeem Deshmukh, who personally handed over the carts to the beneficiaries. Global Foundation Secretary Mr. Masiuddin Siddiqui emphasized that contributions like Zakat and Sadaqah are best utilized when they empower individuals to build a lifetime of self-sufficiency.
